Children's Ministry
The vision for the children of Oso Creek goes hand in hand with the vision for all Creekers! We want to see children develop a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, to be a part of an authentic community of believers and to understand and live an On Mission lifestyle.
Growing Relationship with Christ – Sundays with Children

We see the vision in action each Sunday as children are welcomed into loving and excellent environments where they can experience the love of God and make connections with his son, Jesus, through the lessons and activities. Our classes are age appropriate and all children from the age of 2-5th grades will get their first ‘authentic community’ experience as they work in small groups for the Bible lesson each Sunday morning. The safety of each child is priority to us; therefore, we have a security system for checking in/out all children and a background check is run on all volunteers. Our volunteers are a dedicated group of servers, who willingly and lovingly serve to steer our kids towards Jesus in their Life’s Journey. If you would like to be a part of this excellent serving team please fill out the Children’s Ministry Volunteer Application and contact Amber Appleman.
Authentic Community – Life Groups with Children
The foundational building block for a healthy growing relationship with Christ is for a child to witness and experience this relationship with their parents! We have several family focused Life Groups, where all children are welcome and we encourage families to include their children in their weekly Life Group experience. We believe the children will grow up to be adults who are drawn to authentic communities because of their experience in communities as children.
On Mission – Serving with Children
We encourage families to live On Mission lifestyles together! We offer opportunities for families to serve our city together both through their Life Groups and on Serving Sunday. Our elementary students also participate in serving projects throughout the school year and have served an orphanage in Mexico, the local Human Society shelter, and Operation Christmas Child.
