Lead Pastor: Mike Cervantes
Family: I met Michelle in 1998, but it was not until 2001 that we begin dating. One night while in the parking lot of Baskin Robbins ice cream shop, i knew i would soon marry her. Michelle has her BS in Clinical Psychology, and Criminal Justice. She has worked as a teacher for many years and is now the Bible teacher at Yorktown Christian Academy. We have a son, Kaleo, and daughter, Zoe.
Job: My job at Oso Creek is to lead, teach, and focus the church on our mission as I work with our elders.
Interests: I love film, music, Basketball, books, mountain biking, good food, and playing with my kids.
Favorite Car: 1969 Mustang Fastback (black)

Promiseland Children’s Ministry Director: Susan Klaus
Susan and her husband, Tim, have been married since August of 2003. They currently have three children, studious Paul, athletic James, and sassy princess Berea. Tim is a professor at Texas A&M – Corpus Christi. Tim and Susan foster parents to various children who need a home for a period of time. It is their hope that they will eventually be able to adopt a child who is placed with them. Susan was formally a public school teacher and a Discipleship Coordinator and Women’s Ministry Director for Fellowship of Oso Creek. In March 2011, she took on the Promiseland Children’s Ministry at Fellowship of Oso Creek. She loves being able to use both her skills in education and discipleship as the Promiseland Director.
Favorite Book(s): The Bible, Hinds Feet On High Places, and almost anything she can get her hands on! Books are a beautiful thing and she imagines Heaven with an extensive library and coffee.
Favorite Color: Green and Brown.
Favorite Team(s):Hummm…. Not much of a sports fan.
Big Dream(s): To bring justice, voice, and education to the orphans. To help people (adults and children) find and practically equip them to follow their “God Calling” in their lives.
Vacation Spot: Anywhere with beautiful mountains.
Where I Grew Up: South Korea, California, and Illinois.
Pets: None. Children are enough
Hobbies: Reading. Coffee. Date nights with Tim. Teaching her children to do new things. Conversations with friends. Sharing new ideas.
Interests: My God, husband, and children. Promiseland children. Orphan care around the world and in Corpus. Journeying with others through parenting.

Dale and I met in Virginia Beach where the military had brought us both. We married in 2005 and have two beautiful daughters, Sydney (16) and Abigail (almost 4). After 8 years in Virginia the military decided they needed Dale at NAS Kingsville. Dale and I feel truly blessed that the Lord guided us to the place we are in our lives today.

Associate Pastor/LifeGroup Pastor: Matt Brennan
Matt served as a youth pastor for eleven years before coming to the Fellowship of Oso Creek. Matt met his lovely wife, Sara, at Baylor and they have been married for eight wonderful years. They have two sons, Zachariah (4) and Kai (1). Matt attends seminary at South Texas School of Christian studies while Sara is an LPC intern and works as a counselor at the Council of Alcohol and Drug Abuse. Their heart is to make disciples who walk intimately with God, teach them to live in community with others, and serve others to impact the world for Christ.
